Preliminary Check of your VirtueMart system
This preliminary check is required for all new customers/new sites we are requested to work on.
VirtueMart systems are complex. To fulfil our services reliably, we examine your VirtueMart settings and search for common problems.
The solution to your problem might be included in this preliminary examination, if it is a common or smaller problem. If your problem cannot be solved quickly you will get a short documentation and estimate for the expected cost.
Examined Settings can include:
- Joomla - files and configuration.
- VirtueMart - files and configuration.
- Template - files and configuration.
- Various other settings.
Customer account and what we do with your data
We will open a customer account with at short documentation. All customer data is kept in encrypted containers to allow for maximum safety. E-Mails with login data will be safely deleted and passwords will be changed if possible.
Safety should have the hightest priority in your shop.
Necessary Access
Mostly we will need a Joomla Super User account and FTP access.
- Joomla Super User (necessary)
- FTP server access (mostly necessary)
- Database (sometimes necessary)
- Hoster (sometimes necessary)
Documentation
If there are changes in the shop at the prelimenary examination a short documentation will be given which states which files and settings were changed.
Why pay first
Setting up the customer account and examining the shop system takes time that might not be visible from the outside. In the past these examinations were used to get free consultation. We do not give free consultation. Every hour gets paid by the customer who gets the consultation or service. As a result we do not need to charge higher rates to our real customers.
